"Lockup" is my way of expressing the push-and-pull between confinement and freedom. The different colors create tension, and the swirling patterns illustrate the ongoing struggle between restriction and the chance for liberation. With textured acrylic strokes, I want viewers to feel the emotions in the artwork—a visual story of being held back and the potential for breaking free.
